  1. An old family document, typewritten on tracing paper, outlining the Bryan family tree.  Said to be the work of a professional geneologist.  The document is in the possession of  Charles Ferdinand Carson of Greensboro, NC.

  3. The Hicks Family Bible, owned by Mrs. Aretus Hicks, who before her marriage was Mary Jane Carson, a daughter of Joseph Jefferson Carson and Martha Raines.  The Bible was destroyed by fire on December 17, 1920, but copies of the family records had been made before the fire and the copies were owned at one time by Miss Katie Hicks.
